Ahoy, Mates....

We've got a BEVY of new releases to tell ya about, so let's get with it......In no particular order:

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

PHINS ..... "FOOLS, DRUNKS & CHILDREN"

I personally have been waiting for this release since I scammed a demo copy two years ago. From some of the most professional musicians on the circuit, the original songs on this album, particularly the poignant title cut, are worth the "price of admission." A MUST HAVE in my book !! GARY SEILER ..... "LIVING ON DREAMS"

The long-awaited debut album from this veteran San Diego musician is finally here. Gary wrote all the songs on the CD and is admirably aided by an all-star cast of San Diego talents like: Tim Flannery, Mike Broward, Joe Rathburn & Mark Mulligan, to name just a few. With songs about romance, sailing & islands, if you liked Jimmy Buffett's first 20 albums, chances are you'll like this one! Samples & Order Form at:

BOB KARWIN ..... "PROPER ATTIRE"

An admirable follow-up to his wildly popular initial release "A Little Something For Everyone," this CD features 13 original tunes with the same blend of wit, variety and "hummable" lyrics that have become Bob's trademark. With a voice somewhat reminiscent of Jim Croce, Karwin's originals have all been well-crafted and sensitive at times and the new disc is no exception. JOHN FRINZI ..... "NOT LOOKING BACK"

You may have seen John at MOTM....he's there every year. Once you hear this album, he'll be on your "must see" list. Sounding at times like John Mellencamp and at others, an early Jimmy Buffett, John has done himself proud here with ten strong originals, several co-written by none other than Sir Alex Leist. From ballad to honky-tonk, John's strong vocals & fine acoustic guitar work have made this CD an excellent example of roots music at its best. Samples & Order Form at: http://www.johnfrinzi.com

GENE MITCHELL ..... "GREETINGS FROM FLORIDA"

Once again, Gene has combined quality production, sing-along melodies and thought-provoking lyrics with a central theme: Life in Florida. You'll find romance and adventure on the beaches, at sea and even childhood dreams & memories come alive within the well-crafted lyrics that are surrounded by a musical variety of island, pop, jazz & country styles. Another gem by Gene Mitchell!! Samples & Order Form at: http://www.genemitchell.com

MARK MULLIGAN ..... "FIRST WORLD REFUGEE"

Mark's latest release contains ten new originals like "Pacifica Blue," "Drinking Mexico Dry" and the title cut. This is Mark's fifth CD and if you liked "Going Coastal" and "Mexico," you're gonna love this one....more stellar writing and lots of blue skies, white sands & warm breezes. LEFT COAST ..... "LEFT COAST TOO"

This is another album I've been waiting for since I got wind of it a year ago. The dynamic duo, Tony Irvine & Jerry Gontang of Koko Loco fame, make up Left Coast & if you missed their first release, you missed a jewel...don't miss this one!!

The working title for this gem was "All The Tropical Songs You Can Hum Along To, But Don't Know The Words" and that's exactly what it is! Hell, it ought to be in the Library Of Congress as a reference work! Stuffed with 15 songs, it includes the popular classics, some obscure classics and a brand new, original soon-to-be classic, all with gorgeous three part harmony & LOTS of steel drum!!

LIVING SOUL ..... "TRAVELING MUSIC"

The 7th album by Living Soul & The Pearl Divers, featuring the incomparable Greg "Fingers" Taylor is another feather in frontman Don Middlebrook's cap. Nine new songs with Don's signature lyrics, it even has a tribute to MOTM 2001 & Hurricane Michelle and a forward by none other than Captain Tony himself. VERTICAL SMILE ..... "LIVE AT THE KEYS"

Jeff Pike is at it again, along with his buds, Jerry McCollum & Chaz McDonald. Recorded at "The Keys," a local club in Montgomery, AL, this hilariously twisted album contains 20 parody songs of well known recordings by artists such as Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Dionne Warwick and, of course, Jimmy Buffett. If you like "Pelvic Associates, you're gonna love this one! Samples & Order Form at: http://vrtclsmile.home.mindspring.com

BILL WHARTON ..... "GUMBO MAN"

With ten rockin' originals and a new twist on a couple of traditional favorites, Bill Wharton serves up his latest bluesy platter of sex, drugs, rock & roll, technology, religion and a whole lotta food! Yep.... the "Sauce Boss" still does his cookin' on the stage! Samples & Order Form at: http://sauceboss.com
