I personally have been waiting for this release since I scammed a demo copy two years ago. From some of the most professional musicians on the circuit, the original songs on this album, particularly the poignant title cut, are worth the "price of admission." A MUST HAVE in my book !! GARY SEILER ..... "LIVING ON DREAMS"
The long-awaited debut album from this veteran San Diego musician is finally here. Gary wrote all the songs on the CD and is admirably aided by an all-star cast of San Diego talents like: Tim Flannery, Mike Broward, Joe Rathburn & Mark Mulligan, to name just a few. BOB KARWIN ..... "PROPER ATTIRE"
An admirable follow-up to his wildly popular initial release "A Little Something For Everyone," this CD features 13 original tunes with the same blend of wit, variety and "hummable" lyrics that have become Bob's trademark. With a voice somewhat reminiscent of Jim Croce, Karwin's originals have all been well-crafted and sensitive at times and the new disc is no exception. JOHN FRINZI ..... "NOT LOOKING BACK"
You may have seen John at MOTM....he's there every year. Once you hear this album, he'll be on your "must see" list. Sounding at times like John Mellencamp and at others, an early Jimmy Buffett, John has done himself proud here with ten strong originals, several co-written by none other than Sir Alex Leist. The working title for this gem was "All The Tropical Songs You Can Hum Along To, But Don't Know The Words" and that's exactly what it is! Hell, it ought to be in the Library Of Congress as a reference work! Stuffed with 15 songs, it includes the popular classics, some obscure classics and a brand new, original soon-to-be classic, all with gorgeous three part harmony & LOTS of steel drum!!
