The 8th Annual New England Parrot Head Convention "Living On Island Time", hosted by the Ocean State Parrot Head Club, is moving right along! This great event runs from February 28 to March 2, 2003, and will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel located on Goat Island, Newport, RI. Proceeds from this event will benefit The Jimmy Fund / Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
This weekend long Parrot Head convention will have a concert on Friday night featuring The Baha Brothers, and following dinner on Saturday night we will rock the house with St. Somewhere! Stay tuned for further information on other entertainment as it is added.
Please note, that we have rooms available on Thursday night as well as Sunday night for those Parrot Heads wanting to make a long weekend out of it.
