Was wondering if anyone here is familiar with recording via total recorder. I have about 10 shows recorded and i don't know what to do with the files after that, they are really big and i need to get to where i can put them on a CD. Any help will be greatly appreciated. THanks

USM,
I use the markers (little green arrows) to break down each song into a separte file by using "save as".

Then I burn those separate files onto a CD. Each show usually takes two CD's.

I'm a rookie at this as well, but that has worked for me thus far.

Hey USM- you need to download this program. It will let you slice/dice/julienne the tracks any way you like. Once you cut them into tracks plug them into any program that will let you burn CD's. Burn them w/o gaps. It usually works out that both halves will fit on their own disc.

Let me know if you need any other info.. I'll be here for awhile..

Scoman try that program I linked. I think it's easier to use that doing it with Total Recorder. YMMV

Is anybody using Kazaa these days??

Senator,

Are you recording as WAV files or MP3?
I'm still feeling this software out.

I record them as .wav's and burn them as .wav's. I think the quality is a little better. If I save them I'll convert to mp3.
