Steele,

I'll keep a ticket look out for you.

dmbxc,

I'm a rookie with total recorder.

I have tried MP3 and PCM 44,100 16 bit stereo (wav). Sound appears better on the wav, but the files are huge (1.6 gig or so for an entire show)

Sound will ALWAYS sound better in WAV then MP3. If you burn your shows to discs--- Burn them from waves first. then if you need to back them up put them in MP3 they will sound so much better in wave then MP3s

Cool, if these turn out good enough I may try to shn the files, so hopefully it work okay. The only problem i had testing was when a period of silence came over the transmission, it seems TR wanted to stop. Any ideas?

well if you didnt subscribe to Total Recorder, you only can record for like 40 seconds---if you are getting all dead air, and did subscribe some of your presets must be messed up

Preshow started right at 8 Eastern.

Steve read a letter about Jimmy coming to The Flamingo with Margaritaville..."if Vegas is good enough for Elvis it's good enough for me."

Jimmy then said, "If it's good enough for Bugsy Segal, it's good enough for me...parrotheads love Las Vegas."

Scheduled to open fall of 2003.

Hi, SP! Last Thursday I went to see Jack Ingram and Hayes Carll here in Victoria; Saturday, I was in Corpus for Bruce Robison and then The Flatlanders.

I read the posts though to kind of keep up, since I missed recording and listening.

Conched,

if you read the posts from Satrday (I reread them and participated), could you tell what the setlist like?

Sounds like a book "Conched takes a tour of South Texas--while following bands".
Glad to have you back.
