The book has three sections. The first contains a page on beach safety and being a good steward of our beaches, a maze of the US which can be entered from several places and all roads lead to Florida (teaching kids where Florida is on the US map), a count to 100 and discover Florida page (teaching kids the shape of Florida and key city locations), and a word maze of 27 words related to Florida, as Florida was the 27th state to join the Union.

The second section is a story called Sunshine Children about enjoying a day at the beach with family. The story text is the actual lyric to the song Sunshine Children, which is track 1 on the CD.

The third section is called Sailing on St. Andrew's Bay, and is about fun on a make-believe pirate ship and the text follows the song of the same name, which is track 2 on the CD. The entire book is a coloring book and your kids can even read along as they listen to the CD.
