It's amazing what a group of Parrot Heads can do when they put their Beaks together. In just a little over a week, Parrot Heads have pushed CD Sales for the Vinyl Kings' "A Little Trip" to the point where CDBaby.com is featuring the CD on their front page.
The Vinyl Kings include five past Coral Reefers who were a part of the band during, what many consider to be, the Buffett Heyday, as Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefers began to be recognized by the rest of the world in the early to mid-eighties. And Josh Leo, Larry Michael Lee, Vince Melamed, Harry Stinson, and Larry Byrom were a part of the Reefers during that time, and all witnessed the invention of the term Parrot Head. In fact one might even say, that it was the success of this version of the Coral Reefers that kept Jimmy from retiring.
