I’ve got a signed copy of Joe Merchant and an autographed miniature guitar. Oh, and one of my prized possessions, a signed photo of the man personalized to my wife and I. Have that framed and hanging in our living room with a guitar pick. A definite conversation piece!
...She's growin' up too fast for me, And askin' lots of questions ...
I have autographed first editions of Tales From Margaritaville
and Where Is Joe Merchant?
I also have a concert T-shirt autographed above the front logo.
All of these items were signed at bookstore appearances
(in line with hundreds of other fans) so I guess they don't
really count as "personal encounters"
I still treasure them, nonetheless.
p.s. I have Josh Leo's autograph on a concert ticket stub.
thanks, WO

It's great hearing about everybody's treasures.
It makes me want to work a little harder to get the next
autographed keepsake, or maybe frame one of mine for permanence.

I don't have anything autographed by JB, but I have a lot of stuff autographed by the Coral Reefers. I have two autographed 8X10 pictures in my office, one of me and Tina Gullickson and the other of me and Heather Dee Perry. I bought a T-shirt at the Nashville concert in April, it was two days before my 50th birthday, and so far it's been autographed by Heather, Jules Harkness, Ralph MacDonald, Doyle Grisham, Robert Greenidge, John Lovell and T.C. Mitchell. My Club Trini CD jacket is autographed by Peter & Jim Mayer, Michael Utley, Robert, Tina and Jules. I have Amy Lee's autograph on her CD. And in the days when Club Trini was still performing before the shows I got a lot of them to autograph concert badges at various shows.

I have quite a bit actually:
-Where Is Joe Merchant
-Pirate Looks at 50
-Beach House On The Moon promo poster
-8x10 photos (3 different)
-Somewhere Over China LP
-CILCIA LP
-SOn Of A Son Of A Sailor LP
-One Particular Harbour LP
-Songs You Know By Heart LP
-You Had To BE There LP
-Coconut Telegraph LP
-Living and Dying in 3/4 Time LP
-Volcano Lp
-Floridays LP
-Tina Gullickson 8x10
-Greenidge and Utley 8x10
-Don't forget Macho Man Randy Savage and Dave Thomas from Wendy's
Now unfortunately none of the JB things were obtained in person by me, so the autographs and the COA's I have are only as authentic as the honesty of the person I got them from. They all look great!

I've been fortunate in that where I work he passes through on occasion. He has been willing to sign a couple of things he normally wouldn't. I have posters of one of our Mallards on the step out in Bimini ( you can see it on the Chalks web page). He put his signature on that (which is currently on the wall and framed). The cooles thing he signed of mine, on another visit, is my 1986 cruisebook from the USS America. It was on this cruise he came aboard to do his carrier landing and takeoff (this is why he got that dunker training). So in the cruise book is a pic of him in the drivers seat of a VF-102 Tomcat. As he is sitting at by desk signing it, he says, "I've signed alot of s***, but this is my first cruise book". I'm new to this board, but if there is a way to post it, I will make an attempt to.

I've got one color 8X10 and one black and white 8X10 personalized to me that also say 'Best Wishes'. I was able to get these during a pre-party this February in Raleigh. I've not been lucky enough to meet Jimmy yet, but I'm still hoping and praying for my chance. It is not for an autograph, but just to say 'Thank You'.
At the same pre-party I was able to meet: Utley, MacDonald, Greenidge, McAnally, and Peter Mayer; and got autographs and pics of each!

I've got tons of stuff autographed from all of the CR's but one (Nadirah). They're easy to get.
As far as Buffett, all I have are two items. One is the pic I took of him at least year's street fest. Had it signed at the Nissan meet-and-greet. The other is a napkin from Margaritaville that he signed when he joined the CR's on stage in the Orlando Margaritaville last Feb. I was standing right up front of the stage. Silly me, didn't have anything for him to sign (didn't think I'd be that close and have the opportunity) so my husband handed me a napkin. Got a handshake from the man too. It was pretty awesome.

I got all these signed at different times
BBBB book signed
Tales from Margaritaville
Ticket stub
plus a pick that just says Jimmy Buffett that is white he actually used and a pick that says Coral Reefer Band that is white from the same tour and used. I do not know who had it or threw it. I also have a Peter Mayer pick that he used but his last name is spelled Meyer. I have no idea why he would use a pick misspelled.

YES!! Upload it to the Photo Gallery and then when you post just use the "Img" button and put the link to the pic then click the "img" button again. We'd love to see it!chalksoperations wrote:So in the cruise book is a pic of him in the drivers seat of a VF-102 Tomcat. I've got the mailboat B&W 8x10 personalized to me in 2002, and an autographed MMIM cd case thanks to DiDi at 95.9 The River.
Has anyone heard of someone getting his autograph on their body, and heading to the tattoo parlor to make it permanent? It vaguely rings a bell to me.

Same here, nothing autographed yet. I do have a good start though with one of the wristbands that Jimmy wore during this year's Dallas showparrothead338 wrote:I dont have anything signed YET. I am a younger parrothead so I have plent of years ahead of me to get one
