I think they'll send you a headshot/publicity photo if you write and request one.

I did a google search on stars' addresses and came up with two addresses for Bubba....one in LA and one in Orlando.

They appreciate it if you send a SSAE (8 x 10) with your request.

Good luck.

I have an 8x10 B&W signed picture of Jimmy
I sent in a request for a pic to Orlando and got it about 2 years later :D , but good things come to those that wait!

And I have Inside the Outside CD insert signed by Amy Lee,
Jubilee CD insert signed by Michael and Ralph
and
Club Trini Late Night Live CD insert signed by Michael, Ralph, Robert and Nadirah.
I won Amy's CD at an auction at Pan Jam this year, but got the other CD inserts signed by the Club Trini members at Pan Jam in Kemah!!!
Another good reason to attend Pan Jam 4 8)

I was lucky enough to spend an evening with him. It was Sunday, July 4, 1976 and I attended the 4th of July Kicker Concert at the New Orleans Superdome. The line-up was Jerry Jeff, John Sebastian, Emmy Lou Harris, Charlie Daniels and Jimmy Buffett. After the concert we went to Pat O's and then decided why not go to Frog Man Henry's, he sings about it, maybe he is there. We walked in and spotted Jerry Jeff but didn't recognize anyone else. We sat down at a table and before I knew it my friend says, "turn around, Jimmy Buffett is at Jerry Jeff's table and motioning to you. I turned around, he asked us to join them and I sat on his lap all night. He bought me two beers and I hardly said a word because I was so shocked. Another person of interest at that table was Bobby Charles who wrote "Walking to New Orleans" for Fats Domino. At that time I didn't have a clue who he was. Jerry Jeff got angry for some reason or another and left but we partied with them until the bar closed. My friend wanted to take pictures but I wouldn't let her although finally at the end of the evening she did get his autograph on one of her personal checks. He asked me to continue partying with them but I was young and scared and said no. He got my phone number, invited me to his next concert the following week with back stage passes. Bobby Charles did call a week later but I didn't return the call nor go to the concert because I had to work and my boyfriend at the time told me our relationship would end if I did. My friends went and said it was great. Ironically. 15 years later, my friend ran into him again in a bar in New York and he was with Ed Bradley and Rita Coolidge. Again, she had him sign one of her personal checks made payable to me and signed at the bottom by JB himself. Those were the days.....

i have 2 signed pics of Jimmy 1 which is preprinted and the other is signed by Jimmy himself. :D I got it when i wrote to his address in wpb a couple of years ago asking him if i send in a flag that he saw at a concert would he sign it. I sent 1 to Margaritaville and 1 to Jimmy, the 1 i got back from Jimmy was signed "To Maggie JImmy Buffett" i was hoping to get the flag signed for the captain but oh well
Also have 2 signed LP's, Changes and A1A which are the Captains.

And the Captain keeps threatening to rub my name out

I have a copy of A Pirate Looks at Fifty signed by Jimmy in Dallas on Sept. 24, 1998. Club Trini was playing before the show and Mike Mooney was in the golf cart. I had my book with me to see if I could get it signed for my 50th Birthday.

I asked Mike if he would take it back stage to get it signed. He asked how I would get it back. I told him I would be on the 8th row and when they played Gypsies in the Palace...to have Charleston bring it out to me.

I wondered how all this was going to work.

Lo and behold!!! Right as the GITP started, sure enough, there is Charleston handing me my signed book. My sister and I ran up to get it and we were both jumping up and down acting like fools. Everybody around was cheering us on. Jimmy looked down at us and I just yelled thanks!!!

Under "A Pirate Looks at Fifty" I wrote October 3, 1948, and my name.

He signed it "To NANCY BEST WISHES J Buffett"

It is very special to me!

Almost forgot: I have a drink token that "he" handed to one of my coworkers when she was at the opening of the Margaritaville in Jamaica (I could be off about the location). I framed it in a shadow box, and it lives in a sacred place where even the cat can't knock it off the bureau. :D

I have to admit I've been inspired to write to Jimmy after reading everyone's posts. I've been waiting to try to see him in person, but so far no luck.

I did meet Mac at the House of Blues in Cambridge, MA and got him to sign the back of a flyer (forgot to bring something else, didn't think I'd actually get to meet him).

So I'm still hoping to meet JB in person! Any suggestions? :-)

All I have is an autographed "Joe Merchant". I also have some mail addressed to him that a friend gave me. My friend lived in the same apartment Jimmy did back in the 70's in KW after he moved out. It's 3rd class stuff, junk mail, but it's addressed to him.
