Hey... gratuitous plug here. Although I highly recommend you spend all yor web time here on Buffettnews.com, if it's okay with PHJim, you might spare a moment or two and check out an interview with Ralph Macdonald at
www.keylimecafe.com
Ralph is, of course, Jimmy's percussion player. But he's also a Grammy-award winning songwriter, producer and player. Ever heard "Just The Two Of Us?" Ralph MacDonald.
And then there's the story of how he's more or less responsible for "Don't Stop The Carnival..." But you have to read the interview to understand....

Thanks Lee......what a great story. I'll have an entirely different perspective when I listen to "Don't Stop the Carnival" the next time.

Lee:
Great Interview! Barb and I spend a few hours with Ralph up in Tina's suite at the Pier House at MOTM a few years back. What a story teller. I've spent a bit of time with Ralph since then, and he is a musical genius. Thanks for sharing your talk with him.

After meeting Ralph and Lee in Tampa, I now hear them when I re-read the interview.
Great piece of work and I look forward to reading about the other Coral Reefers!

Cool interview. What a talented guy. I'm telling you, the Reefers have always impressed me. By their accomplishments and in their music.
