Does anyone know how to convert RM files to a wav, shn, or mp3 so it can be burned onto a CD? What computer software is required?

www.totalrecorder.com
Well worth the registration $$.
Also I just discovered that my Soundblaster Live card came with a suite of programs, one of which is a recorder that can handle streams as well as line-in, etc. I think it sounds a little bit better than Total Recoder, but it doesn't have some of the bells and whistles.

Another great option is Streambox Ripper, if you can find one of the older versions that still had the capability to convert .rm to .mp3. It will convert the .rm file without you having to play the stream. The version of Total Recorder I have won't do that (you have to play the stream while recording it), but I haven't upgraded recently so maybe it has more features now.
I finally found Streambox Ripper version 2.009 off a foreign website and it will do the .rm to .mp3 conversion (I think I went through google.com search for "streambox ripper" 2.009). Since it's an old version, it's free as well.
You'll still want Total Recorder if you want to break a show up into tracks-it works great for that and recording live streams.
