No Fingers!

Post by valleygifts »

I went to the Pine Knob concert and Fingers didn't show up, nor was there any word. I did and do miss him, but understand what happened and why he isn't coming back.

If Willie Nelson should ever stop touring, it would be fantastic if
JB could cut a deal to enlist Willie's harp player. Sorry I can't
think of his name at this moment, but I feel his style of playing
would be a real good fit. As always, G.M.,Jr.

Jimmy and the Coral Reefers are great. But, ever since the departure of Fingers, the band has never been quite the same...

Crash and burn.... sooner or later, that's what'll happen if you stay in the Rte 6 rotary long enough, on the way to Cape Cod. :P

You know, the rotary just north of Buzzard's Bay, where supposedly Jimmy has a house.

Well, I have to say that I do like (and miss) the sound of the harmonica, and while Fingers isn't coming back, it'd be cool if Jimmy would bring in a guest harp player every now and then. :D

Keith Sykes did a good job on harmonica on 'Coast of Marseilles' in Nashville last year.

I miss the sound Fingers added to the recordings as much as anyone can,
but after hearing him live, meeting him, and seeing what Bubba is trying
to do with his music/career/empire... the answer is NO...
(And that's probably for the best.)
