This was posted in the April 22 MSC thread but it deserves it's own thread, which is dedicated to my two guardian angels (applause)

Wheeeeeeeeeee! Got a PM from Angel Beech & i've got good Tix to the Dallas show! Special Thanks to ph4ever for excellent lottery drawing skills (can you say # 2 spot?) so she was buying my tix at 10:02! icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif icon_biggrin.gif

My wife has had several eye surgeries & even with good binoculars was frustrated by the view from lawn seats (Jumbotron helps but resolution ain't that great if you are visually impaired).

I appreciate so much the efforts of AB & PH4 for helping out a stranger that they just officially met two days before!

Regarding "official" meeting two days ago:

After talking here at BN, Frognot and wife trusted that PH4ever and myself might be a good bet for getting tickets. (They don't know I'm chronically late for everything) :roll:

So it was determined that we would meet in a central location over an adult beverage and workout the details. We somehow came across as trustworthy I guess :D and I came home richer, in more ways than one, for having met a "stranger" at a pub.

The next day, my Hubby calls me at work and asks if I might have any luck hanging out at the bar again that night since I did so well monetarily the night before. :o :wench: :lol:

It's PHUN meeting (not meating) other BN'ers!!!

To meet more of us in person at the Dallas tailgate, which will probably be remembered as "TaleGate", look for, among other things, the flags of many represented states such as Colorado, Oklahoma, California, Texas, Conch Republic, the Jolly Roger, and a BuffettNews flag.
More info to come.

AB, I already have a Conch Republic and Jolly Roger flag but would love to have the BN flag for the ATL tailgate this year! That would be an awesome way of meeting (not meating) more BN folks. Much appreciated!

AB has already bought 500 cups for jello shots plus all the jello needed. :o I'm buying several cases of Corona and some rhum & diet coke just in case it's needed (and you know who you are)

Bear is getting tequila when he gets here. :D

The Queen will be reigning over the festivities!!!!! :D

Bear and I are making breakfast tacos the morning after the show ~ if we're alive. :wink: :-?

SITC should be happy he still has clean sheets to sleep on. 8) 8)

Frognot is cooking ribs!!! :P :P :P

Elrod's job is to watch ladies and drink beer!!!! 8)

RhumChum is bringing a trunk full of beads!! :wink: :wink: :wench:

ETP is cooking potato salad, beans and bringing pecan pies and garlic bread. There's a rumor that we'll also drink for gumbo!!! :P :D :P

CRC is bringing paper products (and herself which is very important) :wink: :wink: :wench:
