Alright...for 4 years I've been shut out of the Mansfield, MA. show...
granted I've been out of state and trying...but now I'm back here in mass.
Can anyone help a friend out and pass on any tips or tricks on my best bet for tickets? Phone, net, outlet...all three?
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Have alot of friends, computers, phones and people in line at Filenes. The more people you have involved, the better your chances.

I share your pain phriend. I have been doing GreatWoods for many years. I don't think there is any sure fire way. I've tried them all and its basically the luck of the draw. Best bet i think using multiple methods. Have friends go online, cable connection the best, at the same time go to the Ticket Master in the locale mall and get in line, its a lottery so you have as much a chance as everyone else. Worst comes to worst and those fail you, you can buy from brokers, although price will be high and it may hurt, you will still be there for the show. I have scored tickets to two seperate shows a weak before on Ticket Master with ral good seats. Also try the ticket posting on this site. Stay far away from Ebay as there are a lot of phonies pushing bad tics that get you shut out as your walking into the venue. Thats my tip o da day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I told you it would not benefit me.
But I admit, this year will be hard for everybody as there are multiple shows going on sale at 10:00 that are going to be very popular

just show up at the venue, the day of the show. offer face value. if they still want more, then offer $100, for a seat, if it a lawn ticket , then offer a little more than face value. this is the way i get my tickets. there is always somebody with tickets to sell for one reason or another.
i you make an offer and they still insist on their price, then walk away. you will always find someone more cooperative.

Hopefully I'll be joining y'all in Mansfield in August!
Good luck to everyone on Saturday!
