Unbelievable!!!!
Well as I posted already , we got shut out for both nights in Mansfield, We actually had the tickets too but some darn server error....I dont want to go there....which brings me to Ebay.....Look at The prices, They are higher than they were last yr, by a lot!!!
Something has to be done about this, There must be a better way, when I hear about people getting 18 tickets and then selling them for so much. I understand the whole buy sell bit, I am in sales, but ths is wild. The funny thing is, if we want to go, we have to pay this. The prices only get worse as the yr goes on too....
someone, please let me know if you hear of an affordable way to get to mansfield...Thanks.

I feel for you. This was the first year I was able to get tickets direct, BUT, there's some hope for you yet. First, being that in the past few years I was forced to get my tickets through eBay sellers I can say that the prices are high at the beginning and drop after the initial rush. They go up again as the show gets near. Just check as much as you can and put in your proxy bid, ir what you want to pay on the next set closing. I'm sure you'll get what you want at a price you can stomach. Also, and I know this is a tough one because of the distance to the show, but I was at the Boston show last year (Sat. 8/31) and tickets were available for sale all day. 3 college dudes that were parked next to me score lawns seats 5 minutes to showtime at, get this, FACE VALUE! Hey, even if it doesn't work for you at least you'll still get to the party
Good Luck and kepp your FINZZUP

All I can is that if you buy off e-bay or from a newspaper ad....be careful!!! You may be better off going through a ticket agency and paying a little more knowing that you are somewhat gauranteed that your tickets are authentic.
In 2000 we bought 4 tickets for $75/each from a Boston Globe line advertisement....way back in June, only to find out at the gate, that the tickets were fake.....

ok, i will say this again. you do not have to buy from a broker, or e bay.
every concert i go to, i have bought tix the day of the show at what ever venue i have been at and usually pay what i am willing to pay. sometimes i get lucky and pay only the face value, while other times (only a few times) i have to raise what i am willing to pay.

While I personally didn't get tickets, two members of my group did for a total of 16 saturday night pavillion seats. This is the first time since our first Buffett concert 11 years ago we will all have tickets at face value. My girlfriend actually had a good shot at 8 more (she was standing in line at a local ticketmaster) but she gave up her position so a parrothead she met in line could get them for his group.
We will probably only use 10 or 12 of those tickets and the others will be used to reimburse any phriends who have helped us out in the past (you know who you are!!). Any extra's after that will be posted on the ticket exchange for face value.
We'll probably get everything straightened out in a few weeks and then they'll be posted.

Indecision may or may not be my problem....

Are you stoned? You can't even make an IRRATIONAL argument that an artists political orientation has any bearing on the CC/TM monopoly, never mind a rational one.PHISHEAD wrote:f'in dems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im talking to you buffett, petty and dave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
