Jimmy is the MAN!!!

Post by CousinInCali »

If anyone is wondering if Jimmy still cares about his fans, let me tell you this.
A few weeks ago I sent Jimmy a letter to Key West Margaritaville. My wife recently passed away and I just wanted to let him know that his "escapism" music is helping through a very rough time. It was a very personal letter and I sent him a picture of us at the concert in Irvine.
Today in my mailbox was an autographed picture, made out to me (first and last name) and a guitar pick. Heck, I didn't even know if he would ever get the letter, more less repond within weeks.
All I have to say is he must be a great man to care so much about his phans.

CIC,
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife. You have lots of friends here that will help you thru these difficult times, so don't be afraid to ask for help.

That is so cool about Jimmy, although I am not really surprised. He has always struck me as someone who really does care about people and especially his fans. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

Hugs to you....(((((((((CIC))))))))

Sorry about your loss, Cousin. I'll send some PHIN POWER your way from Morro Bay.

The rest of your story is great, though. It is awesome that someone as busy as Jimmy, even if he is the supreme beach bum, would take the time to do that for you. It makes me appreciate him even more.
