so how are we all doing with the tickets process.....you know what would be funny........To find out how much Jimmy would cost at Greatwoods on a Saturday night, face value, then find out how much people paid to get in!!
Could never be done but would be interesting.

By the looks at ebay some of the shows are expensive........
I wonder why Jimmy has'nt come up with a better plan to sell tickets to the fans......I mean what would he think about some of the seats that are 66 bucks going for 1800 like I saw on one sight!!

I must say that the Buffett gods were looking down upon me :) Like so many of you, I was online that Sat morning and got screwed by ticketmaster (or so I thought)...there were 5 of us trying online and on the phones...well I got through and got 4 pavillion for Thurs night....but when I submitted the order it timed out and I didn't get a confirmation number or anything. I was swearing up a storm!! TM had done it to me yet again...and noone else trying got tix either.. So I am sitting in the office on Thursday and an email pops up from Ticketmaster saying your tickets have printed...I was like.. huh?? I haven't ordered any tix. So I open up the email and it says: Your 4 tickets for Jimmy Buffett have printed. I literally jumped up out of my desk and screamed....I got the tix in the mail today..... So don't give up hope people...the chances are there....good luck to all. It's all about good karma...I truly believe I got my karma for selling Dave Matthews tix for a show in NYC for face value rather then the going rate for that show which was $250/ticket....so have faith people...the gods ARE watching

Well I will be coming from Chicago to the Boston area for the first time. As most people on here, I don't have tickets for Saturday. I have 2 tickets for Thursday, but I am not flying in until Friday. So I was hoping to swap 2 tickets.

Any tips on what the tailgating is like, etc? Are there any bars in Boston that go to Mansfield?

Huh?? :-? :-? :-?

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but here's a good tailgating tip for Mansfield. You may want to consider bringing some snow pants, mittens and nice warm hat cuz it sure don't look like this winter will be over anytime soon... :x :o

Well the winter here in Chicago doesn't seem to be going away either. We just had 3" yesterday, but the forecast is looking good for the weekend. High of 60 on Friday. Put away the long underwear!!

Well I've never been to Mansfield, MA., so I was curious of what the tailgating situation is. Do they let you drink in the lot, etc?

Well thanks. It varies from city to city. I've been to Cinci where as soon as you park your car, the security is there and dumping out your beer. On the other hand, go to Alpine, Wi., and they let you in the lot at Noon.

I was just trying to get an idea of what to expect and when would be a good time to arrive. Undoubtly, I will still be looking for tickets the day of the concert, so I at least want to get there early to see if I have any luck.

One quick word of advise, and this changes from year to year. Since there is no charge for parking at GW you can only get into the lot if you have a ticket. Like I said it changes from year to year as to how strict they are about this policy. Good luck, you're going to need it!
