Avatar Images

I had to disable the avatar images (that little image that shows up with your posts). Once again BN is getting closer to the bandwidth limit for the month. I don't anticipate what happened last month to occur again this month.

If you have an avatar image on another web site you can go to your profile and add it in the "Link to off-site Avatar" near the bottom.

Thank you, AGAIN, for your hard work and efforts on keeping this place running, Jim. I think we can all live without our cute little pictures, as long as we still have a place to gather!! Thanks so much!

I'm no computer geek, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but if we're getting close to the monthly bandwidth limit, maybe it would help if we refrained from posting too many pictures and graphics, unless we really need to. Just a thought...

I'm no expert, but the Pic's we post are not all hosted on this site, only the text to display the pic are. The Avatars and pics from the Gallery are pulled down to your PC from PHJim's web host, that uses the bandwidth.

Why don't you get rid of some of the non buffett pictures in the Photo Gallery? There are so many pictures there that have nothing to do with Buffett. That would help free up space. Also, add a Paypal link on teh front page asking for help paying for the site. Paypal is free to use and I am sure you will get some donations that would help you pay for the extra bandwidth.
