You know- i'm sitting here living in NYC now, used to grow up in Lauderdale, but I have to tell you , with everything going on- Jimmy is an absolute savior. Someone told me a few years ago (and I WOULD NEVER try and comapre them), but ANY mood you are in, Sinatra has a song for it. But, you know what, so does Jimmy. I would never try and compare these two, but I will say, what ever mood I EVER am, Jimmy has a song for it, as well. I love Frank as well, but sometimes Jimmy is just needed.

You're right, Les. Whatever mood I'm in Jimmy makes it better.

And yes, God bless our troops.

No doubt about it! If your happy he's got a song and if your sad he's got a song! God Bless Our Troops and God Bless America!

So true, so true. I think that applies to music in general. Jimmy said it at the MSG show: "Music will get us through!" Phins up to all who will get us through this.

I agree, I tend to get uptight (particularly, with current events) Jimmy's tunes tend to relax me.

Now matter what happens, you can depend on Jimmy. Winter blizzard, hard day at work or anything bad that happens, Jimmy can take you away. He is the ultimate in stress relief.

I can only take so much of talk of war on the radio, after a few hours I need either a Buffett CD or Radio Margaritaville to relax again.

I grew up listening to Frank Sinatra. He told a story with each song...no matter how many other artists had done the tune, he made it his own.

Jimmy's in the same league as a storyteller.

Things are not good at my office these days. If it weren't for Jimmy, I'd be in real trouble. Am re-visiting HOT WATER right now and loving every minute...had forgotten that Aaron Neville sang on SWIARSS. Makes it all the more special.

L'Air de la Louisiane and Pre-You are helping me make it through.

Thank you, Jimmy, for giving us so many make-it-through songs...and for the happy ones, too.
