I'm wondering if he will move further up the pole next year. The results are based on previous year stats, and JB tours considerably more than the Stones/McCartney/Springsteen/Eagles, and a few others on the list ahead of him.
As he reduces the number of shows he performs each year -- most people can see that he is tailoring his schedule and reducing the number of "public" shows he perfoms -- the price of tickets escalates due to increasing demand for a declining number of seats ( during the overall tour). One might note that Celine Dion has not "toured" in several years, and that she opens her 3 year run at Caesars Palace tomorrow (the 25th) and that tix are about $210 per person. This sets a new bar for show tix in Vegas by about $90 (recession....what recession?). And Vegas tix for most touring acts are higher than most other venues on an artists tour schedule. Can anyone say thank you to "The Joint" at the Hard Rock, and the MGM for trying to compete with them. If you think Vegas is still a cheap vacation you haven't been getting out of the casino much, as it's now cheaper to lose your money at the tables rather than buy a ticket for a show.
It's just speculation on my part, but less touring does seem to equate to higher ticket prices, except of course for Elvis. Got to love a guy that's been dead for 20 plus years and still cashing in.

That really suprises me to see younger guys like Eminem and Jay Z in there, I mean they have only been out for a couple of years right? I don't understand how these things are calculated, is it album sales , tour revenue,ect... or is it the amount of assets you have? Also, is that the entire Eagles band in there, isn't that like 5 or 6 people?
And finally, who freakin' cares how rich all these guys are, I'm still poor!

What?
I've never heard of Jay-Z and Robbie Williams, and for the love of God, why is Celine Dion #4? Unbelievable.
