I thought it was kinda kewl actually. Given, its not the best version of the song. I think the best is the one on YHTBT, but I really like having Nadirah sing, and it sounds much more like a sailing song. And I love to have a studio version of the song like this!
and Jimmy theres still so much to be done...

I agree with Matt in that its great to have Nadirah on vocals for whats really become her verse. She does a beautiful job. I hate the fact that the first 45 seconds of the track is filled with talking. I also think the song sounds extremely overproduced. I like the simple SOASOAS version off the self titled album. I also agree with Matt in that the YHTBT version is great also. This version sounds like a cover band trying to do the song. Its very rare I criticize a Buffett tune...I hope it grows on me.

I agree with that, but the other one that makes me cringe is when he is doing the "rap" on Bank of Bad Habits and he saysGumbo wrote:Thats off "Hot Water". The whole thing is awesome!
I don't know about you, but I love the whole C.D....and I also know one thing...
He's Jimmy Buffett, and we aren't.
If you don't like the new version, listen to the old. But none of us barefeet children are in a position to say 'it's not good.' Yes, we pay for it...but he's the man!
Sail on Jimmy!
