Howdy folks! Longtime parrothead, first time poster here! Sadly for the first time in many moons I was shut out for Irvine. On the plus side though I managed to score front row tix for San Diego!!!! I can't wait and I'm really lookin to do it up right! If Jimmy happens to play "coast of marseilles" you'll notice me up front as I'm sure to spontaneously combust. Anyway just wanted to drop in on this thread, and say hey to all you socal parrotheads!

Welcome, rudedogg-- Congrats on the front row seats at Coors!
If you want to make it to Irvine as well, I am sure you can manage to get tickets... Last time I hit Irvine, I saw quite a few tickets for sale in the parking lot, mostly for face value. Good luck!

Just postin to get this thing up to the top! Missed SD last year but hit Irvine during the Saturday show and let me say that was a tailgate party gone insane! I've been to Irvine since '94 and have never seen it so wild. The one thing I noticed though is there were a lot of party crashers (ya know non-parrotheads just there for the party...the stories we could tell). On the flip side I hear SD is finally getting a proper tailgate together. A tailgate that is starting to get that smae sort of Irvine vibe. The 2 years I went were pretty mellow but I hear last year was pretty good. Anyone care to comment?

Looks like Irvine is becoming the west coast version of Camden or Great Woods....

Well, thanks to a night of celebration in honor of my baby brothers impending wedding (wild bachelor party), I overslept on Chula Vista/Irvine sale day! Needless to say I failed to obtain tix for either show

. However, I am planning on taking that whole week off from work and heading south where hopefully the tailgate ticket gods will smile down upon me!

Have Shoreine tix in hand, so I will definately not be shut out! I am planning on making Irvine my wifes first Buffett show, so I am especially looking forward to that one! Anyways, I am counting the months, weeks, days, hours, and seconds until I get to party with u all again! 'Til then.....

you can still go on ticketmaster and get decent seats for Chula Vista, no need for scalping tix there.

I expect Chula Vista to have tickets for awhile. I know more than a few people that cannot go on a Tuesday.

Back to the top! Goosebumps slowly building...as well as resentment towards all those Nissan, Camden, etc. PH's who are enjoying Bubba live while we left coasters have to wait til September! Soon, though, soon!!!
P.S. Thanks again, Glenn!!
