I am just curious...Anyone got any information on the Tweeter Center? I have never been there, nor have I ever seen Jimmy B. I have wanted to for as long as he has been everyone's favorite beach bum, but never had the opportunity. So I am completely stoked. My seats are in the second pavillion, about the 14th row back, but at least I will be there!!![/img]

If it is the Tweeter Center in Boston you are in for a treat! Get there about 10:00 a.m....

I'll wait to see if you are at Boston before I start gushing about it being the best parking lot sceen out there. I've been to 12 venues and Boston is the best single-day event. However, now that I did the Key Largo at Vegas, I'd have to say it is the best weekend event...

Oops! I mean the one in Chicago.

What section are you in? the pavillion gets very wide so you could either be in good shape, or way off on the side.

Sound is iffy, though improving, lots of beams, though if your seats do not say obstructed view you are ok, and you will be standing on slanted concrete for the whole concert (it is murder on my back!)

Get there early (for the parties, and to avoid the construction and highway backups).

Not the best pavillion around, but you'll still have a great time!

Ive seen two Buffett shows there. First one back on the Banana Wind tour sucked. The sound was horrible and we sat too far off to the side. Couldnt understand a word Jimmy said.
Last year we went to the thursday night show and loved it. We got 25th row center about a week before the concert from TM by pure luck. The sound was great and it was about 90deg that night. They mustve worked out the bugs in the sound system. I had sworn I wouldnt go back there but got the tickets and was so happy I did.
Also, you can tailgate there. We all had to work that day so we didnt get to the lot until about 3:30. Opened up the van and broke out the lawn chairs,tunes,food and beers. Lots of people hanging out before the show getting primed. Nothing like Alpine Valley but you can get started before you have to go in and buy the $4.50 Corona's. Not sure how early you are allowed to arrive.

I was also at the Thursday show last year. We were in an RV and they parked us on the other side of the place away from everybody else. That kinda sucked but we had a hell of a time once we got in. I enjoyed the Dallas show this year better (including the pre-party/tailgating).

The Chicago shows this year will be AMAZING!!! Because Im goin!!!

I'm also looking forward to my 1st JB concert at the Tweeter Center in Chicago (1st in Chicago, but 22nd overall)...I'm driving up from KY with 3 or 4 other people so I hope it's a good place to see a show!! We'll be in the lawn b/c that's all I can afford if I want to see Jimmy multiple times per year!!

I have been to 3 in chicago - always a good time. Always in the lawn. Very good parking lot scene.

Hikingontuesday- I am going to Boston this year as I have moved East - please gush about the parking lot scene! I am taking two Buffett virgins, my sister and her husband. I may need some ammo to convince them that we do indeed need to get there by 10 am
