Weather Update....Tropical Storm Gumbo Gal is taking shape and should be on top of the East Troy area by noon on Saturday....watch out!!
Rum, you cannot not imagine what it's like to know that Jimmy will be at Alpine this Saturday and I won't be. This is far more painful than I ever imagined, but my fatherly duties are calling. This is worse than when I was 8 years old and my family was poor so my parents told me that Santa was shot in a drive by shooting and there would be no Christmas......

Rumpunch....that hurts. I am more disappointed with Jimmy than depressed. Didn't he get my e-mail telling him to schedule Alpine in August as my keet was due to arrive in June??
Latest Weather Update.....let's just put it this way....remember Alpine 2001? That is going to look like a nice tropical day compared to what's in store for Saturday....

JM, I know exactly how you feel. Last year, for the first time in three years, I had to miss the Cincinnati show, and it drove me crazy. I tuned into Radio Margaritaville and heard the pre show interview with JB, and he said the weather there was as nice as it had ever been. It was really hard knowing that there was a great party going on at Cincy while I was sitting at home.
But, take a look at this thread linked below. It puts everything into perspective.

Gypsy....I took your place in Cincy last year and the weather really was great. Yeah, I saw that thread you referenced and you're right, it puts it all in perspective. So I won't be at Alpine this year and you'll all miss see me and the Hemisphere Dancer....so what....life goes on and enjoy what you have. I'll be at home, wearing my hawaiian shirt, listening to some JB tunes on my deck, sharing some Coronas with my keets...what could be better?

I can check 10 different weather sources and get 10 different forecasts. Anywhere from a high of 72 to 81 and precip forecasts from "few showers" to scattered t-storms to rain early, partyl cloudy in the afternoon. All I know is that it doesn't matter - anything will be better than 2 years ago and I had a blast then so that means this year can only be better!
Is it day?
