Where is your Margaritaville?

I am new to the board (sort of) so I dont know if this has been done, but where is YOUR margaritaville?

Mine is Gulf Shores, AL (as of now). I love that place. Not as touristy as most places, and the beaches are cleaner than what is close to me in Texas. Plus the Gulf Steamer is the greates restaraunt I have ever been to!

I just cant beat it.

The first time i went to the beach i went to Gulf Shores. It was alright for me, but i went to Destin/Ft. Walton Beach recently and it was much better than Gulf Shores. Just my opinion.

My margaritaville is with me wherever I go ~ it's that one particular harbour in my mind.......

To answer your question, I'd have to say where ever I am while listening to Jimmy. If I'm on the beach, all the better.

Off topic, how's A&M for ParrotHeads? Do you see many/know many? I go to the University of Arizona, and I personally know one, maybe two Buffett fans and have not heard of many besides us. Just curious.

gulf shores is def. my fav gulf coast beach, minus the keys. not touristy, but still the great atmosphere. a few too many big condos, but not out of hand. and yes, great food: gulf shores steamer, zekes, perdido pass, francos, etc......

Mine is definitely Aruba, which is where we went for our honeymoon three years ago. It is where I escape to in my mind when I need a little break from stress.

I also like Sullivan's Island, which is off of Charleston, SC, but it is more my "Tin Cup Chalice" kind of place.

My favorite place is either Meaghan's Bay in St. Thomas or off a small boat inlet in Big Pine Key. Everytime I hear One Particular Harbor it takes me there with lots of fond memories! The best mental vacation -- and cheaper!

Right now I'll have to go with Corolla, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Very serene and relaxing. I may change my mind, though, when I get back from the Caribbean in a few weeks.

Anywhere here where I can play Buffett music and not be told to turn it off!

As none of my friends are parrot heads - I usually can only listen to the music on my own

So, when on the odd occassion, we have a ph phlocking here - It really is special!

Rosarita Beach Hotel about 20 miles "South of the Border" below San Diego. It was really fun back in the '70's with Federales lookin' in with a grin.

It's hot everywhere!

I've been splitting my time between Phoenix and Tucson this summer and it's just hot all over the place. Almost TOO hot to be transported to a personal Margaritaville, but we try. A pool, some JB music, and a fridge fulla Corona usually helps...

Actually my Margaritaville is an actual resteraunt here in Sandusky Ohio. Very good resteraunt. My fav. is Cheeseburger in Paradise...as always

And its accessible by boat!
