Key Largo......... Come on, get enough folks together and share a room at the MGM. When I checked the rooms were $250 - so $199 is a deal! I'll have to try to find that one! There may be a room and a couch available at the Case de Honey Do - but it's quite far from the venue! :o

Pirate - thought you weren't coming in until the pm? That's good - more time to play!

Probably not - they're quite greedy and just want to s*** up everyone's money. They never have in the past. Sorry......... :(

I have someone with connections working on rooms at either MGM or NY NY, but if I can't get a room at either, I may give in and stay at the cheezy Key Largo - at least I know there will be lot's of fun people there!

My house is just too far from all the fun and I don't want to have to worry about the obvious!

I did the MGM last time (April):D ...USAirwaysVacations had a deal that was better than anything else I could find. However, NYNY was almost as close to the theater as my room in the MGM, so that would seem to be a good option too...

Never did see the Key Largo

According to the Mrs., a return trip to Vegas this year is NOT in the cards (pardon the pun) Apparently, VegasI, Camden and Baltimore is our limit...

Enjoy it y'all, I'll be following the thread just in case my luck turns

MJ the $199 rate was on hotels.com. I talked to three people at the mgm and could not get anything for less than $239. By the way, why so down on the Key Largo. You only sleep for a couple of hours anyway.

So it is the Key Largo, MGM and maybe San Remo so far?..San Remo is good but the towers block the sun limiting the pool time :x

I went to a travel agent for a package. They are able to get better deals at the MGM. My agent was able to get me a room at MGM (emeral tower) for a $300 total (Fri, Sat and Sun night). So, if you have the time or know of a travel agent, it may be worth it to check it out.....Good Luck all.....

I'm not down on the Key Largo, I just like the idea of staying at the MGM so I can just walk to the room during the outside party and freshen up before going into the concert. And can walk to Ricardo's - it's just closer. Key Largo is okay, well, it's cheezy, but okay. I figure since I'll only be sleeping there a few hours as PP says, I can get a few folks and share the expense, keep the cooler in the room, and have a nice, clean place to shower and stuff! :D

Scoman - sorry you won't make Vegas II. I also will be at Baltimore show, and Virginia show. Maybe see you there.

Mason, what keeps me busy when not online is work, work, work, oh, and a little play and pool time. :D
