This is a great riddle that has stumped everybody I have ever asked. Ponder on this question for awhile, and I will post the answer tomorrow (Thursday) around 5:00 PM.
What's the first thing you know?

Congratulations, Penny! I have asked this question to lots of people before, and you're the first one that's ever gotten it right.
People always start thinking about when you're born. I've had people say, "My name," "My mother," and "crying." Then, when you tell them, "Ol Jed's a millionaire!," they always have this look on their face like, "I should have known that!" The thing that's tempting to me is when I ask the question, I want to sing the question to the tune of the song. Talk about giving it away! I have to always remind myself to just ask the question without singing it to the tune. You must be a huge fan of the show to have gotten that right. Congratulations; sorry I don't have any prizes!

Now, if everyone will turn to Hymn #5 and join us as we sing along:
Come and listen to my story about a man named Jed....

Queen P, even after you wrote it, I didn't catch on that that was the answer. I just thought it was funny! (Is there a smilie with a hand hitting the head?)
