I think all true Parrotheads have probably done it. We have just heard it so many times, it's just 'skippable' sometimes. I know it's the national anthem, and I love the song dearly, but yes, I too have skipped it once or twice....

I have never skipped the original version. Too much of a classic to skip. Maybe the only time I have skipped it was when I am listening to "feeding Frenzy". Never liked that live album much anyway. It's no "you had to be there", or "Tuesdays, Thursday, and Saturdays".....

I skip it alot because it's on so many albums I'm afraid I would hear it too much and get sick of it. I don't want that to happen. :(

Guilty as charged--but like cctxsailor said, it's because I don't want to overplay it and get tired of hearing it.

I have to agree with Daddy on this one, just hearing it makes me want to have a Margarita and grill a little food. I do however understand what most are saying, if I wanted to hear Cowboy, I skip over any number of songs to hear it.

It all depends upon how I feel... sometimes I skip it, sometimes I don't. However, if the 'keets are in the car, I have to play it ( Cheeseburger and Fins, too!)!!!
I made enough money to buy Miami... but I p*** it away so fast...

I listen to Margaritaville in its entirety maybe three times a year. Every single time it comes on I skip it. I do the same thing for WDWGDAS, Cheesburger and Fins. But for different reasons.

I skip over it quite a bit, especially when I am by myself. Sometimes though I just need a little Margaritaville.

NEVER, EVER!!! I still love it and appreciate it despite all the seemingly other hundreds of good songs.

To me, it NEVER gets old.
