It's the second day of summer and I drove through a snow storm in Montana and it wasn't even on a mountain pass! A cold 45 degrees today for a high temperature!
The calendar says Summer, but it sure feels like Winter!

Livingstonbob,
Don't feel bad, it's been raining off and on for the last 3 days, had some frost on the windows this morning. I have to go to Yellowstone tommorrow for work. Packed the long underwear and long sleeve shirts.
But I'm taking the Margarita mix, so that I can dream of the beach.

Blackbeard,
Hope you have some tire chains too. It sounds like it's going to be nasty! If you go up north, Mammoth Hill may be a fright. If it gets too bad they will probably close the Beartooth Highway that they just opened on Memorial Day. I'll bet Cooke City gets a lot of snow dumped on them. I just saw the weather on tv and the high tomorrow for West Yellowstone is going to be 47 degrees! Luckily, I'm up in Helena so we'll just get some rain.
Hope you have a safe trip!

hey bob and beard...
after 14 years between the Gallatin, Madison and Firehole rivers, I'm now in the California desert. Thinking, believe it or not, nostalgic thoughts of the July 4 snowstorm of 199?3?. Either of ya coming to Vegas?
