One of Those Songs That I Think Would Be Great Live

Post by Everybodys Cousin n Miami »

"Kick it in Second Wind'.

Great country/rock song.

Good chorus.

The last 45 sec. of this song would make for a great jam. It has a excellent ending.

I would play it halfway throught the second set.

And who doesn't love the line "Gotta to do another show"

Doesn't anybody have a unique song they'd like to hear?

I'm still hoping for the day that I get to hear "Death of an Unpopular Poet." Not that it would necessarily be a crowd pleaser, but I'd enjoy it! 8)

It also wouldn't hurt my feelings to hear Migration or Livingston Saturday Night in concert.

Dare to dream. :D

Great thread Cousin! I also think KIISW would be cool live, I would put it in the encore slot because it has that "end of the night" type feel..."Its 3 o'clock in the mornin', bartender screams last call...."

I would definetly include that song, among others I would love to hear:

Beyond The End would be the perfect encore as far as I'm concerned!
Brahma Fear to end set one!

Makin Music For Money is my top choice for opener!

others include...Banana Wind, Love In Decline, and Frenchman For The Night
GO U of L CARDS!!

GO BRONCOS!!

Excellent choices Luni. KIISW would be a better closer.

Now we can start putting together an alternate set list.

Another songs I like are Ballad of Skip Wiley, Quietly Making Noise, Vampires Mummies, Domino College

I went to the Nashville show in April when JB played Coast of Marseilles with Mac and Keith Sykes. It is the second best song I've ever seen him play in person. #1 was The Night I Painted the Sky in '95.

My choice to add to the setlist would be 'I Don't Know and I Don't Care" to end the 1st set.

I heard The Night I Panited the Sky around that time at Buckeye Lake. Jimmy ended the show with that song and had a huge fireworks display during the final few lines. Still get goose bumps when I think about that.
