Need help finding a song.

Post by McGee »

A friend of mine downloaded a Buffett tune called "Take your drunken 15 year old daughter home" or something similar to that. Does anyone know which album it appears on? I have most of Jimmy's albums and can't find that song on any of them. Thanks!
Indecision may or may not be my problem....

Well, just to show my brother Talon up, I don't believe it ever appeared on an album, but I am pretty sure you can download it from www.cobo.org

You are correct. It has never appeared on any album.. Never a single either.. Just a song Jimmy use to play way back in the early 70's......

To follow up on what Buckeye said, the song was recorded sometime in the early 70s (for Havana Daydreamin' album, I believe. Don't quote me on that), but was never officially released. I know that I downloaded it from COBO in the past, and I assume it's still available there.

You are right, and on some rare versions of Havana Daydreamin you can find it.

I think PTYD15YOGH was another of those few songs written by "Marvin Gardens".

I remember hearing the same thing, that and maybe Train to Dixie were recorded for "Second Wind" which became Havana Daydreamin'.

I was hoping one or both might have made it onto MMIM. No such luck.
