Star Lake (Pittsburgh/Burgettstown) question

Post by fleshandbone »

A friend who is going to the concert on 8/19 with us has built a Tiki Bar which we want to take to the concert. Problem is, we would have to haul it on a trailer. Does anyone know if we would be allowed to bring a trailer (plus Tiki Bar) into the lot? I've seen some great things in that lot but I don't really know how they got there. Anyone know the protocol?

Last year we rented a u-haul trailer and were given two options...either pay for two parking spaces or park with the buses...either way, i would call the PG Pavilion first to see if this would still be allowed.

I have seen it in the lots of the 'Burg. Not sure what they did, but others bring in these huge setups. Look foward to seeing it!

They will let you bring it in as long as you pay the$8 per space and they will make you park in the bus section.

Oh definitely not, I think I've convinced a bunch of the Nissan people to make the trip to Pittsburgh! It took a lot of arm twisting, but I did it!

Where is everyone staying? I've only stayed at the Country Inn and Suites. Any suggestions. Also, how early will they let us in the lots?

That is the only thing that sucks about Star Lake(I will never call it the PG Pavilion). Unless you stay in the campgrounds down the road, the hotels by the 22/30 interchange in Robinson are really the closest accomodations. Cant wait to see all my phriends out there and if you havent seen her, look for the women with the big fin in the back of her truck. For a small price(you have to do a shot of Mezcal) she let's you sign the fin. (Sounds like a bargain to me!!!!)
