Can anyone tell me how much they paid for the lawn seats for Pittsburgh, including all of TicketNazi's "special charges"? Thanks.

Frank, I think mine came out to about $42 with all the service charges. Hope that helps!

hi! was wondering what time most of you plan to be at starlake? two years ago we got turned away at the entrance. we parked along the road and within a few minutes cars were backing up and then they let us in. last year we figured to arrive slightly later and til we got in the lots were really full and no sooner did we set up, it was time to tear down and head in. so i thought i would check in with y'all and see what's what, if you don't mind....
thanks,
Ro

Hey Ro! Well, I've taken a shuttle in years past, so I didn't have to worry about this. What time did you get there that they turned you away? I was thinking about arriving before 1. I've heard people say there's a holding lot where you can preparty until they let you in the main lot. So I say the earlier, the better. You are also invited to meet us at the Country Inn and Suites and caravan over if you would like.

"Tailgating in the parking lot is permitted; however, alcoholic beverages in the parking lot are not permitted."

This was taken from the Post-Gazette Pavillion's website. Is this anything we have to worry about, or is it not enforced?

No, nothing to worry about at all! As with most tailgating, just make sure you bring plastic cups to pour your Coronas in (no bottles) and bring lots of trash bags so that you can leave your area clean at the end of the night. The security there is very cool, I have a picture of my sister with two of the men in blue from a couple years back. So, no worries mon!
As Cousin said, 21 more days! Can't wait!! :D

Last year we got there at about 10:30, I plan on arriving at about the same time this year. There is a holding lot that is just left of the exit or down the road from Starlake itself. We hang there and then we all round up as many people as we can and storm the gates. It is a ton of fun!!! Especially the traffic jam getting in. All the excitement is great and it is one traffic back up you will enjoy!

thanks for the info! we were planning on leaving johnstown around noon, but listening to you pholks, the earlier the better since it takes us a little over 2 hours to get to starlake....and i would rather join the crowd to storm the gates rather than to be "late".... we were in the traffic jam a couple of years ago, everybody out of their vehicles, wandering around drinking, it was alot of fun.
Ro

oh, where is that country inn place where the caravan will be? i am not all that familiar with the surroundings. thanks.

I found this on PAGE 2!! We only have 20 more days left!

Early is definitely better.
Ro, I'm not all that familiar with the area either, but the Country Inn and Suites web site has a map of it here: http://www.usahotelguide.com/hotel/1000 ... 25f3015407

Sorry such a long address.
Hope to see you there! :D
