Yes-- as a big fan of the ride (as well as handsome men in pirate gear), my friends and I can't wait to see it! Disneyland actually closed down the ride for a while to update it and add some scenery from the movie. They also have a number of items and models from the movie in the Disney Gallery above the ride entrance. Very cool stuff...lilsalty wrote: If you've been on the Pirates of the Carribbean ride at Disney a ton of times (as I have), you'll catch some little inside references to the ride (i.e. the prisoners and the dog with the key). This is a movie I'm going to definitely rent to see it again.
For anyone in So Cal, I highly recommend seeing it at the El Capitan theater in Hollywood (yes-- it's crazy traffic, but well worth it!) They have the place decked out in Pirate stuff, including costumes, etc. from the film.
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggghh!
I just found this link if anyone wants to check it out-- there's some cool pics and fun stuff to download, including posters and clips... The graphics on here are great!

P.S. I LOVE the "scenery" in this one! (See below)

I think this is the part rickc. is talking about-- Gotta give a little something to the men too!rickcrystal wrote:
my favorite part was when the girl in the movie (wow!), and john depp were stranded on an island that he had been stranded on before. well some people who bottled rum hid some rum on the island. i want to say more about that part but i wont spoil it.
