It wasn't the best movie this summer (nothing will beat Finding Nemo) but it was definitely number 2. My favorite line in the movie was when Captain Barbossa said to Elizabeth... "Ye best start believin' in ghost stories Ms. Turner, you'rrre in one".

Awesome movie!!!

I finally went to see it this weekend.... twice :o :o

It was GREAT!!!!!!!!

Johnny Depp's portrayal of Jack Sparrow....... Oh... I mean Captian Jack Sparrow was Great.

I couldn't stop laughin' or smilin' at every seen he was in..... :)

Like it said in the movie.....

He has to be the worst pirate ever....... or the best ;)

I give it 9 Black Pearls out of 10..... :pirate:

I'm with ya Bear. I will own it on DVD when it becomes available :D

The movie was okay. But I couldn't help thinking it was a theme park attraction advertisement. And was it intentional to have the two British buddies behave as if they were in a Monty Python movie?

Saw the movie tonight and loved it. The kids wanted to see Spy Kids 3D and had to be coaxed into this. The 8 yr old was a little restless in some scenes but the 11 year old loved it and can't wait until it comes out on DVD. Does anyone know where the movie was filmed? Did they actually shoot some of it in the Caribbean or is it all movie (& Disney ) magic. I swear that the first scenes were shot in Soufriere on St Lucia.

It was filmed in the St. Vincient and the Grenadines, as well as bits and pieces lifted from around the Caribbean Sea and of course a wee bit of computer generated graphics.

Twas a stirring sight, those gypsies in the palace.
