I like all of Jimmy's stuff but I am one of the few that doesn't put his 90's stuff in my top 10(Fruitcakes is close). I will take Hot Water or OPH anytime.

This is an exelent album. I love Barefoot Childern, The night I painted the Sky, and "ooh mexico", yes that was right I like Mexico. Out of all the albums I've bought, this is one of JB's best! I got it for free, but it is definintly worth buying! Exlent job JB!

I have to put my 2 cents in on this Cd.. Let me start off by saying that i truly belive this is Jimmy Buffett at his finest. I know i might take some criticism for choosing this over A-1-A, Changes etc etc.. however all you have to do is listin to the songs and it will soon become clear.. It sounds like he really put alot of effort into this one, and the album artwork is my favorite. Images of hammocks blue water.. Its just such a great Cd, heavy on the steal drums.. You get your usual fun Buffett songs like " bank of bad habits" "Dont Chu Know" and "lage Nom Ai" but to me the best are the slower more personalized songs.. "barefoot Children" " Remittance man" "Blue heaven" "Jimmy Dreams"

anyways this is the perfect album for a cold Ny winter night to get your mind into some hiddin tropical port.. :D

Simply put, JB's best. Title song is my overall favorite tune. Barefoot Children, Jimmy Dreams, Blue Heaven and all the others are outstanding as well. This album is the total package of Caribbean soul, and every tune holds up.

This is one of those albums for me that's kind of a tossup. It has some great songs on it, yet at the same time there aren't really any catchy or groundbreaking songs either (at least in my opinion, but there are some remarkable songs on here.)

While this album will probably grow on me in time (it already is) there just aren't that many catchy or loveable songs that make me what to come back for more. However, songs such as Bank of Bad Habits, The Night I Painted the Sky, Jimmy Dreams, and Barometer Soup have become some favorites of mine. I'm not too fond of this album yet, although I must say that I like it better with each listen.

Whoa, I was listening to this album today for the first time and months and I'm totally blown away. This album is simply amazing, I guess I just didn't give it enough time before. It's like having a brand new CD!

I can't say enough great things about this album, it is simply one of Jimmy's all time best! The writting, the music, the cover, the attitude, the production are all top notch! The idea of using books to gather inspiration while recording in Key West proved to be a homerun. How about doing it again Jim!!! Oh an bring back Russ Kunkel to produce!!!
