MOBN!!! Chicago Saturday show

Hey PH's, I need some help. I found out today that my friends and I will be attending the Sat. Chicago show. This trip was originally cancelled back in February, because we did think we could all have the same weekend off. (Alpine was a blessing, but Chicago is an act of the tiki gods. I am looking for suggestions on buying tickets in the parking lot. I never had problems before elsewhere. Also, we need to find a good place to hang out before the show, i.e. tailgating or whatever. Finally, this may be a stretch, but if any one knows where a few parrotheads could camp or rent a hotel this late in the game, it would be helpfull.

Last year for the Chicago show, my friends dad (who already had tickets) went up the night before the show and we went up the day of the show without having any tickets. By the time we got there my friend's dad had gotten us two lawn seats. I dont think it will be too hard to get them but you may have to pay a pretty penny. I would check eBay

I have quite a few friends coming that don't expect to get tickets until they get to the lot. I don't know if it's gonna work for them, but they seem to be sure they will get tickets. They came last year and before 2 of them were even out of the car, someone had offered them tickets for face so with the luck they had last year, they are planning on doing the same this year. I'm pretty confident they will get tickets somehow. I have mine...I'm too chicken to risk it!!!

I will be there for the Sat concert with 25 to 50 other members of our normal group. I was at Alpine too and missed seeing an BNers there

. I hope that will not happen at Tinley - I am looking forward to seeing some I met in Tampa, and seeing as many new ones as possible.

Not sure where we are staying. We never know anything til late (its a bad way to do things a lot of the time).

all the sudden I got a golf outing on Friday in Rockford... Which means I am gonna leave work early on Thursday, get tickets to the show that night(If I don't leave work 'til Thur. Aft((from WI)) it could be the soberest I've ever seen Jimmy!!), then golf on Friday!!

Now I'm thinking, if I don't gotta be back to work 'til Monday, I might as well try and get some ticks for the Sat show too!!!!!

As of right now, but me and Buffettbunny on the list!!
