Have you ever drank a little 2 much???
Moderator: SMLCHNG
I have to admit it... at last years show in Pitsburgh my brother-in-law and I set-up a mini-golf set that ended up being a magnet for girls willing to flash. Guys started pouring tequlia down my throat (of course I didn't stop them) as a "thank you".
As we were getting ready to head into the show I realized I locked my keys in the car with the engine running (for about 2 hours) and the tickets inside. I tried to break into my car through the trunk, but was too drunk, and as someone pulled me out, I tumbled (or as my brother-in-law says.. flew for about 15 feet) onto the ground and cut my hands and feet (but of course I felt no pain). Well we finally broke into the car and grabed our tickets.
Once inside the venue, I decided that I needed to go to the bathroom, So I went into a stall and sat... and sat... hell I passed out on the toilet
I woke up as the show was starting, stood up, pulled up my pants and yaked all over the stall (agian
). I flushed the toilet, and ran out of the bathroom... only to find that the lawn had gotten much more crowded then when I left it. Luckly, my brother-in-law had a bright pink Hawaiian shirt on and I found him by the 3rd song. I made it through the show, and pasted out in the car ride back to the hotel.
It was a bad trip back to philly the next day... Never again will I drink tequlia! It is very Bad!

Man, I don't feel near as bad now. I thought missing 1/2 the concert and losing my group in a drunken stooper was bad. Thats Busch League compared to what I just read.
Can't wait for Tinley on the 23rd. Got a second chance to redeem myself. I assure you, the drinking will not start at 10 am this time. Ta-Kill-Ya is bad! That crap is evil. No more.

In Key West, I stumbled out of the Green Parrot and bumped into a huge parking meter that was about 5 inches taller than me. I insisted that this particular meter was Abe Lincoln, and I proceeded to yell at him and smack him around calling him "proud" and "obnoxious" with his tall hat. Lucky for me, my boyfriend took numerous photos of this.... and he didn't tell me the story of what happened until we had the pictures developed several days later.

Thanks about the site
I have had so many problems with that hosting provider. Also, I need to redo the Buffett pages so they will be thumbnailed.

The name says it all. Besides who got cut out of that picture that you post and what is that hanging over your shoulder ? The only time I can remember YOU turning down a shot or 3 is when Lori wants you to lay on the bar while she pours our old friend Jose in your mouth. BTW she is still p*** off about that.

my first jimmy buffett weekend was a weekend of excess. memorial day weekend 2002 in vegas was oodles of fun and oodles of trouble. saturday show i was a good lil boy and was under control. however, on sunday i went a lil too big for my britches. the combination of weed, percoset and excessive drinking did me in. in my drunken stupor, when security said i couldnt bring my bottle of southern comfort in, i interpreted it as i had to finish the pint right there right now. needless to say, about 45 minutes into the show, i was done. i guess someone complained and security removed me and during this removal, i lost my favorite beer bong. i'm so glad i got the saturday show in with all senses there!

I'm "fuzzy" on a few details of some JB shows and out and out don't remember one but that was the old days!! My formula for success these days is drink pretty heavily from 12 to 3, slow down from 3-6 and switch to water from 6 to 7:30 or so. Than right before we go in i do two shots of tequila to set me up perfect for the concert. I've done this the last 4 years and I swear by the system!!
Indecision may or may not be my problem....

Re: Have you ever drank a little 2 much???
At Nissan this year I blamed it on a long day in the hot sun. Perhaps a few too many Corona's could have contributed to my lasting long enoughpac7days wrote:Hey gang! I feel horrible. I went to Alpine this year to see JB and didn't pace myself that well and, well, can only remember a few songs. I wait all winter to see Jimmy and was VERY disappointed to next morning when I awoke and my head was all cloudy. The previous JB concerts I was fine, paced myself perfectly. This year, I failed. So, I am wondering if anyone else has ever done this and then maybe I won't feel so damn bad!!!![]()
