Question about GW Seating

Post by SmartWomaninShortSkirt »

I bought reserved seats for GW (section 14) through a scalper - b/c they were cheaper than lawn, and I figured that if the seats are really bad (which I suspect they are), we can always go up to the lawn section. Now I'm beginning to wonder... :-? Can you go to lawn with a reserved seating ticket? Also, can anyone tell me just HOW bad section 14 is at GW? I fear I've made a big mistake! :o

Thanks :)

Never been to GW but at every other venue I've been to (Cincy, Atlanta, Alpine Valley, Nashville), you can indeed go to the lawn with a reserved ticket.

However, going to the pavilion with a lawn ticket is a different story.

you can go to the lawn with a reserved section seating actually there is no one checking tickets for the lawn what row are you in? we had the open pavillion for neil young but were second row, which was pretty good you have a ticket you are in get psyched you might even be able to trade two reserved for three lawn the open pavillion has stairs that run up to the lawn you can come and go as you please but make sure you have your reserved ticket if you go to the lawn, then want to get back

It all depends on what row you're in. The higher the letter the worse your view and if you have a real high letter you won't have a view of the stage at all.

No view of the stage? What if you have lawn seats? I always assumed that this was like any other venue, in that you can see the stage from the lawn, but you are just very far away???

Based on our experiences at Nissan, I'd say go to the lawn. From that far up, you can't see anyway. I assume they have the large monitors like Nissan. You'll be needing them anyway. Nicer people in the lawn anyway.

What the heck are you talkin' about?? Of course you can still see the stage... It's pretty small, but you can still see it. :P Don't worry about it being to small. The Tweeter Center has 3 or 4 huge monitors hangin' at the edge of the roof to help your drunk, tired eyes out...
