I am sure Alan's people have some decent inside information. Sit tight, Billboard usually updates on Wednesdays.

With that said, I am firing up the blender in anticipation.

The charts are usually not updated until Thurs of each week.
I think....

They may inform the artists before they make the charts public.

I'm amazed that no one has said anything about this being Jimmy's first #1 Single (albeit a duet). Margaritaville was his highest reaching single and only made it to #9 in '77.

It seems like a lot of Country Artists are emulating Buffett's style or mentioning him in their songs.

Would someone please explain to me how it works? Is this single being sold somewhere? I can't find it anywhere! And all I keep reading is that it will be released on the AJ best of album. So how does it get to #1? Same with the video? Please help! I'm REAL happy it's #1, but how did it get there if it's not released yet? I'm sooooo confused?

It just occurred to me, it must be "Five O'clock Somewhere" so it is officially time to celebrate.
