Hopefully it sounded worse on the radio than it was in person. It was cool of Jimmy to play Southern Cross and thank the crowd after the incident.

Well, Gumby has posted in the set list thread and made no mention of it. So, it must have not been too serious, or he would have probably mentioned it.

didn't see what it was either, but it seemed to catch him in the face or eye, and he got over it quickly.

on another, nicer note, the folks that parked next to us in the parking lot were from England, and came to the states for 2 weeks, specifically to see Jimmy for the first time! ain't that cool!!!!!

Posted by ejr in the set list thread:

his reaction to something being thrown on stage (and sorry I did not see what it was) was that it hit him in the face or eye-I think it was just a beach ball and don't really think he was too p***-if so it didn't last.

Hey all... Well survived the Thurs. show. Jimmy was excellent as usual, but may be my groups last concert unless we decide to pay some big bucks for front-center seating. Was in the lawn but getting to be just toooo many obnoxious-drunks (was actually barfed on by an older man!). Then there was this underaged girl totally wasted, flinging beer all over us, and just the usual people that dont care if they step all over your stuff while stumbling thru. We always get front lawn by the railing, but getting to be a hassle just trying to keep your spot while trying to enjoy the show. So be it  And for the question of what was thrown... it was a glass with ice (I believe)...hit Jimmy right in the eye. He grabbed his eye and doubled over, then after a minute stood back up and said the 'Don't thow s*** on this stage again.' Then he kicked it off stage. I happened to be looking at him thru binoculars when that happened. Couldn't believe someone would do something soooo stupid! Glad to see Jimmy, but not real happy with the overall time we had.

No, gumby, I said you posted in the set list thread. At the time, we were waiting on somebody who had been to the show to post to tell us what happened when somebody threw something at JB. And, you were the first person I noticed who had been to the show to post when you posted in the set list thread about all the people you met. When you didn't mention the incident, I presumed it must not be too serious.
