FYI, the midway is outside the track gates, and parking is free. I have tickets to sell for the event (the "crapwagon" race) at below ticket office price if anyone is interested.

I will be on the grounds, but I'm not going to the race (it's a matter of principle).

Peter is great, haven't seen him in concert (not with Buffett that is), but I have heard some of his songs and they are great. He's got a great voice

I encourage anyone in the area to go to this concert...I have seen The Peter Mayer Group many times ( 15 +) in the past 4 years since I became aware of what he does apart from JB. I have NEVER been disappointed!!! See for yourself...just anoather great thing about Buffett's music...and being a parrothead...I have learned about other great musicians and shows! I just ask that you go with an open mind and don't expect to hear JB music...Peter's is great too!!! Give it a chance...

I got word from the Speedway PR department yesterday that PM has cancelled the date, and instead they will have 2 other bands.

To me, it's just another broken promise from TG and the IRLista.

Well, I guess I just have to wait another 6 days before I hear him play.
