I'll see if I have it, and if it's a clean copy. if so, it's yours!Air M'Ville Cap'n wrote:Well you could ask around in the Concert Trading post. Someone might crop it out of one of the shows off of RM for you
It'll be a day or so before i can get to it (or so it should be, based on my schedule).

new version of Margaritaville
not sure which version you are talking about, but they gave out CDs at the gate at Great Woods on Thurday night that had a version of Margaritiaville and Tequila on it (only 2 songs). It's a new recording and 1/2 the verses were in Spanish. I suspect Jimmy recorded it in Key West when he was doing the CD.

"Meet Me In Margaritaville" is a song written by Ralph MacDonald at Jimmy's behest. It will be on Ralph's new album, tentatively titled "Home Grown" which should be out sometime in the next 6-8 weeks.
The version you heard during intermission is the cut off Ralph's album featuring Nadirah and Dennis Collins.
Check www.ralphmacdonald.com for more info or I'm sure it'll be posted here when it comes out.

Re: new version of Margaritaville
That is the CD that came attached to bottles of Margaritaville Tequila earlier in the summer.rpnuge wrote:not sure which version you are talking about, but they gave out CDs at the gate at Great Woods on Thurday night that had a version of Margaritiaville and Tequila on it (only 2 songs). 7lords... kinda off the subject, but is there any chance you can add a link for the version of "Back Where I come from" Jimmy and Mac sang the other night?7lords wrote:I've replaced it with an updated version from Saturday's Great Woods show:
