I know I saw a thread a while back about programing Buffett songs as ringtones. When I tried it with my phone it did not have the same settings as was on the thread.

I have a motorola v60t phone, and it seems to have limited programing for tones.

If any one can help I would greatly appreciate it.

thank you 8)

I have come monday as a ring tone on my phone, but alas it is AT&T. There was a link to a ringtone website on the ATT site, maybe Motorola has one too.

I am in the market for a new cell phone and you have just convinced me to look into AT&T over Sprint!! Come Monday is my favorite song! Thanks for the info Captain Flint!!

I'm "heading up to San Francisco" today for the Shoreline show...

For those of you with an LG phone from Verizon Wireless and have access to the "Get It Now" feature, they've just added "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere."

This is the only Buffett ring tone I could find for my phone, although I do have two Marley ones -- "Buffalo Soldier" and "One Love/People Get Ready."

I have the same phone, and would also be interested in any ring tunes..... I did however, have my 13 year old work on it for awhile (she can read music), and did do a fairly good margarittaville for me.....

Glad to help but I have to warn you, the ring tone does not do justice to the song. I suggest going on the website and listening to the tone for yourself before making any decisions, I believe there is a link to the ringtone site from www.attwireless.com. But alas, I give att props for an attempt at Buffet

Phone information. . . .

I got one of the new Motorola flip phones (it isn't one of the V models that y'all have already mentioned) and they don't offer a single Buffett song in the polyphonic system that my phone uses (at least Cingular doesn't). I had "Come Monday" on my old Nokia and it did okay. I'll have to see if "5 o'clock somewhere" is available.

If this helps?? Just do a "SEARCH" on the word 'ringtone'.. and there are 5 threads about it. :)

I have a Motorola V60 flip phone, and searched everywhere (I think I did..) and couldn't find any JB ringtones. So.... had to program the intro to Margaritaville myself. Got the cd going, and sat at the piano to get the right notes, and it worked pretty well! If anyone with the same phone would like the sequence let me know. :) Happy hunting.

if you wrote down the keys I would really appreciate them. I went out and bought one of Jimmy's song books. I am going to give it to one of my buddies to hopefully convert some of the songs to ringtones I can use.

I will post if these actually works.

thanks

I'm painfully new at this, so please be patient. I just got a Motorola V60i. Apparently, it can only receive mono ringtones. Can anyone point me to some decent Buffett ring tones that are compatable. Thanks.

I found this one on another thread for the V60i. I tried it on my V60t. It was short, but is the closest I can get at this time. It might work better on your phone. Let me know if it does.

if you still have your manual it should walk you through on how to put in the notes. If not, the website might have some download for the manual

For my phone to change it I went to settings....ring/vibrate....my tones. Then I just looked in the manual to see which keys played the notes.
