Not sure what part of town you'll be in, but if you get up to Marietta (about 15/20 min north of downtown ATL), there's a place called Hemingways. It's on the Marietta Square - www.hemingwaysmarietta.com

Have a good trip!

Another vote for Hemmingways. St. Somewhere did play the third Saturday of every month when I lived there about 4 years ago - not sure if they still do but it is a good place.

All those are great places. As far as chains are concerned there are Bahama Breeze and Bridgetown Grill restaurants all over the Atlanta area. The bars at Bahama Breeze restaurants have been known get pretty crazy and they make great Mohitos.

Although not very "Buffett-esque", The Vortex in Little Five Points tends to be a place that Atlanta Parrotheads meet up from time to time. The Atlanta PHC holds happy hours at Summits Wayside Tavern (formerly Taco Mac) on Roswell Rd. just north of I-285 every first, third, and sometimes fifth Thursday of the month.

Try using http://www.accessatlanta.com or http://www.citysearch.com

Hope this helps!

I can't believe no one has mentioned Rio Bravo. Although, I think the food has deteriorated since Chevy's bought the chain, they still make a decent margarita. Lu Lu Baitshack in Buckhead is awesome. Grab one of their fish bowls, head up to the roof deck, and order some fried alligator tails. You'll love it.

There is also a Fat Tuesdays in Buckhead, but it isn't with the other bars.

If you're in the area there is a Parrotheads Only show at a place called the Flying Machine in Lawrenceville. The show is from 8-10 on Thursday, October 23. I've seen this guy several times and the show is fantastic. Reservations are recommended. Number for details and directions is 770.962.2262
