Two questions:

1)Is 'Door Number 3' a true story about Jimmy, someone else, or just completely made up?

2)Is 'Ellis Dee' on 'Down to Earth' really about LSD?

These are questions I have and do not know the answers to. Your help is appreciated. Thanks.

I would guess that since Jimmy has openly admitted to experimenting with psychedelic drugs in the late 60's-early 70's, Ellis Dee is probably about LSD. But I don't know about Door Number 3?? I've never heard it was a true story?? :-?

Door # 3 was one of the three doors where the "mystery" grand prizes were hidden on the popular 60's and 70's TV game show "Let's Make A Deal." Monty Hall was the host ("Monty, Monty, I am walking down your hall"), and the beautiful Carol Merrill was the show's "Vanna White" (for lack of a better phrase). Jay Hasche was the other moderator. ("I don't want what Jay's got on his table, or the box Carol Merrill points to on the floor.")
At the end of each show the contestants who won prizes had the option of keeping those prizes or trading for a bigger (or booby) prize hidden behind one of three doors-doors #1, #2, AND, #3.

Thanks Wino; but I already had that part figured out. I was just wondering if it was a true story for Jimmy or not. Thanks again.

was that the show where people dressed up in all sorts of insane stuff *looks at buffett concert pictures and blushes* and traded up for like ten pounds of peanut butter?
