Riddles

Post by pair8head »

Phaw started this yesterday at DW I suggested it might make a good thread here and she suggested I Go for it. Ok here's the Idea.
I will give you a riddle. when someone post the correct answer I will post "DING, DING, DING" And then the person who got it asks the next riddle. So without further ado........

To unravel me
You need a simple key,
No key that was made
By locksmith's hand,
But a key that only I
Will understand.

Sorry 7 but that was a good thought.
I am debating about giving a hint , just can't think of one that won't give it away outright.

And here is the next one for all you riddled ones:

- Until I am measured
- I am not known,
- Yet how you miss me
- When I have flown.

I was wondering the same? What about cipher or cypher?

Def:
A cryptographic system in which units of plain text of regular length, usually letters, are arbitrarily transposed or substituted according to a predetermined code.
The key to such a system.
A message written or transmitted in such a system.

A message written or transmitted in such a system.
Code or cipher would have been acceptable.

He who makes it, has no need of it.
He who buys it, has no use for it.
He who uses it can neither see nor feel it.

The internet makes these games no fun.

I will pass on giving the answer as that riddle is the first one on the list I found.

Maybe we should all promise not to use the internet?

I so pledge.
