The background looks great. But I would like to make a suggestion. Find some font and color that stands out a little more. With that background being busy you really need it.

It looks good but I agree with the others about the font.

here's an option, take it into Word & make it a watermark so it is softer & fonts will stand out more.
Also, if you haven't, bold
your text
other then that, funky is the word
