I think the DVD is great. Lots of great footage that you never see anywhere but at the concerts. It was great to see all of Alan Jackson when he came out at Indy. The rehearsal at St Barts was really cool too. Peter was showing a lot of leg though . And I always love the extra shots of Jimmy flying, fishing, and sailing. Great DVD!
This is awsome, i wish there was more! My only complaint in the sound during Fins, sounds like they screwed the recording up. Other than that the whole thing is awsome and i can't wait for the next one!
I even spotted some ChIcAgO footage! I can find me within about 5,000 people!!!
THANK YOU JIMMY!!!!!!!!!!
and Jimmy theres still so much to be done... WWW Trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent
It's great, but let's be honest, we need a full length concert dvd to get us through the cold New England winters! C'mon Bubba get those cameras rolling!!!
Tryin' to tell myself that my condition is improvin' and if I don't die by Thursday, I'll be roarin' Friday night.
The price of Mini Matinee can't be beat. It took me a while to find mine, but I eneded up finding it at Suncoast for about $8.
The DVD has six videos/songs. There are three I enjoy the most. It's 5 O'clock Somewhere has a duet with Alan Jackson. A rehearsal for Knees Of My Heart is great because it just Jimmy and the band sitting on a porch relaxing and playing music. Jimmy has a senior moment, and everyone laughs. Meet Me In Margaritaville led by Nadirah and Tina. I had never heard this song before getting the DVD.
While only about 30 minutes long, it is still worth the $8 I spent on it. Also some great bonus footage of Jimmy in his plane and stuff.

Word on the street is that they are working on it along with January's Hawaii show, but Mailboat Records doesn't have the best track record for getting stuff done. My only complaint about #1 is that it is too short, but the footage is AWESOME!!!

How do you find the hidden footage? Is it some sort of Easter Egg?
Gypsy In The Palace wrote:Put your cursor on the compass to see the hidden footage. It is a rehearsal for "Thank God the Tiki Bar is Open" for the Tiki Time tour in April 2003.
Hey, Thanks - will try it tonight when I get home from work.
Happy 3 day weekend!

I was kinda hoping for a song that was not already on the DVD
I was going to ask about any easter eggs but see that everyone else has found what I found.
Anyone get their DVD in a jewel case? I found one in a jewel case instead of the big stupid DVD cases. And, ha ha, it was a dollar cheaper than the big dumb DVD case release. In fact, I also found U2 Go Home in a jewel case. Fits in with the record collection and for that it's fun to have it chronological or by whatever album and tour it was from.
Ha ha, you'd think there would be tons of extras on it since there is lots of space still available on the disc. But then, with the price, ha ha ha ha.
I can't say this met all of my expectations, but it sure is handy to jog the memory and really get in the Buffett mood.
Since my kids saw it (they are 5,5, and 6) that's all they want to watch! Better the 'keets are watching that than another episode of SpongeBob, I guess.
Some people never find it
Some... only pretend, but me...
I just want to live happily ever after, every now and then.....
I LOVE it, because I'm on it! I was lucky enough to be videotaped in the parking lot last year at Merriweather Post. I made it on the big screen during the show and then they culled the footage for the DVD. It's me with the "COME MON" license plate on my wife's car!
Does it bother anybody else that CIP and Fins and maybe another Jimmy and the Band keep on changing there cloths and Nadira even gets a haircut in CIP. I just find it very annoying and distracting......
