Thoughts? When I saw him a few weeks ago I thought for sure he'd showcase the new album since it's release was just around the corner but for some odd reason he only played one cut from it ("Precious Little Miracles"). I love me some Todd Snider and really enjoyed the show but in retrospect I wish I'd caught Fountains of Wayne in Carrboro that night instead. I've seen Todd probably a half dozen times or so now but have never seen Fountains of Wayne. Todd was great but the song selection really wasn't that much different from the last time I saw him a couple of years ago.VanillaGrl wrote:

The latest Justin Townes Earle CD ... he laid it down in an old church ... really stripped down, soulful sound. My favorite cut is DOWN ON THE LOWER EAST SIDE. Talent to let, this kid.

I'm listening to a live stream from the Jefferson in Charlottesville, VA where Megafaun and the Drive-By Truckers are playing tonight. Megafaun just finished their set, prior to the Truckers taking the stage the pre-show house music is The Band.
