Parrots, pirates and sharks in Carolina

Post by carolinaparrothead »

I recently moved to Durham, NC from Cincinnati, OH.

Are there any other parrotheads in the area or can someone steer me in the right direction please? I found a group in Charlotte but that looks like a 2 hour trip.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There's a Parrothead club here at the beach but I'm not part of it although I have been to one or two of their gatherings. I do recommend you seeing Scearce and Ketner if you ever get a chance. You'll be blown away.

I THINK there should be a listing of all Parrothead Clubs at www.PHIP.com. Sorry if I'm wrong, but at least my heart's in the right place! :D Welcome to the Southeast corner of the USA! :D

Welcome to Durham UD and Carolina Parrotheads! I've been here for several years now and noticed most of the other parrotheads are down Raleigh way. Although, there are several of us in my neighborhood alone, warranting Buffett themed parties on occasion. Perhaps some momentum is building here....?

Hey y'all welcome to the Carolinas! Ok, I'm still getting used to all this southern'ez speak myself (moved from Meeeechagan five years ago) and just getting into things this way. If you look up phip.com as others have suggested you will find one for our area. They meet at East Village on the NC State campus, on the 2nd Saturday of each month I believe??? I have yet to join myself because I didn't want to show up alone. If anyone wants to make the trip I will meet up with you and take us there. PM me if your interested..... :D
